Flowers & Kain

Flowers & Kain are a New London band built around a genre-blending mix of hip-hop, rock, reggae, and soul. Founded by childhood friends Bryan “Bobby Flow” Flowers and guitarist Ryan “Killah” Kain, the group developed a reputation for energetic live performances and a sound that pulls from artists ranging from Jay-Z and Biggie to Led Zeppelin and Jimi Hendrix. Their early records include Early Release (2009), featuring songs like “2 O’Clock Man,” “Heat of the Rhyme,” and “I Like Flyin’,” while their live album 2.Oh! Live from the Power Station captures their more recent material. The band has shared stages with artists including Ne-Yo, Asher Roth, Colin Munroe, and Dropkick Murphys, and has been a longtime part of the New London music scene.
