Radiotrictiy

Radiotricity is an alternative rock band born out of the fertile 1990s music scene in New London, Connecticut. Blending raw, driving alternative rock with the atmospheric indie sensibilities of the era, the band became a staple of the region's live circuit before dismantling in the mid-1990s.

Following the breakup, cofounders Ben Parent and Eric "EG" Gelfond went on to form the acclaimed Connecticut Americana cornerstone group The Rivergods. Meanwhile, the legend of Radiotricity’s lost studio sessions endured among local music archivists. The band's definitive 1990s recordings were eventually compiled and officially released as the album Early Grace under the Good Sponge record label, featuring fan-favorite tracks like "Aunt Sally!", "La Condition Humaine", and "Break Like Horses".

In 2026, original members Brett Eckhart (lead vocals), Ben Parent, and Eric "EG" Gelfond famously reunited to celebrate the 30th anniversary of their breakup. What was intended as a one-time reunion concert at the historic Hygienic Art Park quickly reignited the band's creative chemistry. Now back and actively performing, Radiotricity continues to bridge their vintage 1990s alternative rock roots with a renewed, high-energy live presence.
