The Whales Album Release Party w/ Blonde Furniture & Gerry Mander Trio

The Whales will be playing two sets starting at 8pm at The Social Bar + Kitchen, 208 Bank Street, New London, CT. The Gerry Mander Trio at 7pm and Blonde Furniture at 10pm round out the bill. There is good food, drinks, music and no cover charge, so no excuses for missing out on dinner and a show. The Whales album will be discounted 10% at the show.

After three years in the making, The Whales double album, Last Stand for Now, will be officially released on October 25, 2025. It’s a limited edition, 160- gram, high fidelity vinyl double album with two sides of studio recordings and two sides of live performances (from the Towers of New London tribute show at Hygienic Art Park) of songs from their prior albums, Whales Rock! and Fishbelly White, some covers, a 1984 performance of Weed Wacker and new songs. They invited several local musicians to join them on the studio and the live performances.
