Scott Gordley’s Funk House is a groove-driven ensemble rooted in funk, soul, blues, and jazz. They draw on classic funk influences while channeling the energy of R&B, soul, and jazz sensibilities, keeping heads moving from start to finish.

At the center of the band is Scott Gordley, a veteran saxophonist and bandleader with 35+ years on the East Coast music scene. He’s known for blending jazz and blues sensibilities with funk and soul, fronting groups like the Scott Gordley Trio/Quartet and Funk House across Connecticut, Rhode Island, and New York.

Gordley’s musical resume includes stints with established names and ensembles — everything from R&B outfits like Little Anthony & the Loco-Motives and Johnny & the East Coast Rockers to regional favorites like Special 20 and Erik Narwhal & the Manatees — and appearances with national blues and roots artists over the decades.
